A documented 150 MHz passive probe for compatible 1 MΩ inputs. Check the 10–25 pF compensation range; it is not a bandwidth-equivalent replacement for a 200 MHz probe.

- ✗No automatic attenuation sensing is documented; set the scope manually
Overview
The PVP2150 is our documented general-purpose Rigol alternative for buyers who do not need more than 150 MHz probe bandwidth. It is a different model from RP2200A and Siglent PP215; neither the old name nor the old specifications should appear on its buying link.
Review basis: manufacturer documentation and a dated exact-model Amazon identity check. No hands-on measurements or ownership experience are claimed.
Fit comes before bandwidth
The guide specifies 10–25 pF compensation with a 1 MΩ scope input. Confirm that your scope falls in that range and compensate each channel using its calibration output. A BNC socket alone does not establish compatibility. Rigol qualifies the bandwidth and rise-time specifications with an appropriate Rigol oscilloscope.
What the published numbers mean
At 10X, the guide specifies 150 MHz, 2.3 ns rise time and 10 ±5 pF input capacitance. At 1X it lists 35 MHz, 10 ns and 50 ±20 pF. The cable is 1.20 ±0.02 m. The category/voltage limits are 150 Vrms CAT II at 1X and 300 Vrms CAT II at 10X, with frequency derating; apply the lower probe/scope limit.
Who should choose it
Consider it for a compatible low-voltage bench setup when you want documented compensation and an accessory set. Keep a suitable 200 MHz or faster probe if preserving that measurement path matters. Set attenuation on the probe and instrument consistently; no automatic readout sensing is documented.
