Documentation-based review, without independent bench testing. Scores are editorial; prices are reference values. Confirm the seller’s current offer.
A current two-channel source for documented modulation, arbitrary waveforms and remote control. The 50 MHz figure is the sine-wave ceiling; waveform limits, load settings and optional memory must be checked separately.

What We Like
- ✓Two channels; 16-bit conversion and 625 MSa/s headline sample rate
- ✓2 Mpts per channel standard; USB/LAN and web control
Limitations
- ✗8 Mpts per channel is an option, not included by assumption
- ✗Not sold here as a vector I/Q source or automatic Siglent Bode-plot accessory
Overview
DG852 Pro is our current general-purpose upgrade for buyers who need two channels, documented modulation and remote control. It replaces the unavailable SDG1032X in recommendations, but it is not presented as a Siglent accessory or a vector I/Q generator.
Review basis: manufacturer documentation and a dated exact-model Amazon identity check. No hands-on measurements or ownership experience are claimed.
Choose the waveform, not just the headline
The exact DG852 Pro column specifies 50 MHz sine, 40 MHz square, 25 MHz pulse and 15 MHz arbitrary-waveform repetition ceilings. The series uses 16-bit conversion and a 625 MSa/s headline rate; advanced arbitrary/sequence modes have separate sample-rate limits. These are source specifications, not measured signal-purity results.
Memory and output loading
Standard memory is 2 Mpts per channel; 8 Mpts requires an option. Output amplitude is specified as 1 mVpp–10 Vpp into 50 Ω or 2 mVpp–20 Vpp into high impedance. Match the instrument load setting to the actual circuit, and check offset/frequency limits before assuming the maximum amplitude applies.
Workflow and buying decision
The 7-inch display, USB, LAN and web control suit an automated or shared bench. It costs more than the budget JDS6600/FY6600 options; buy it for the documented controls and waveform requirements you actually need. Do not assume automatic Bode-plot integration with a Siglent scope. A built-in scope generator may already be enough for basic stimulus work.
Sources and review basis
Documentation reviewed 2026-11-01. Manufacturer specifications are distinct from Amazon price and availability checks. No independent bench testing is claimed.
